AGM Meeting Minutes
14TH DECEMBER 2009
I. Chairman Opened MeetingPeter thanked all members present for coming to AGM and their support throughout the last year.
II. Election of Committee OfficersMembers elected officers as follows

III. Secretaries ReportSecretary thanked all members present for their support for past previous year.
Only a handful of members that have not paid subs for the year 08-09 names were posted on notice board
The club has acquired 9 new members during the year
Members asked about membership drive Agreed to re-invite members from previous years, whilst undertaking the renewal reminders for the coming year.
IV. Treasurers Report
Treasurer advised that currently the club is in profit for approx £1000 although a little down on last year, this is because two BMF payments have been made in the same calendar year for insurance purposes.

Ron Hooper sent his apologies for not attending meeting
VII. Regalia Officers Report
Gavin reminded members that all clothing still available, if anyone interested in anything, to see him at any meeting.
VIII. Events for Year
Peter reflected on the last year of which we able to donate twice to charities, first being Farley Hospice for £700 and the second being Help the Heroes for £250.00.
The club show was a great success and John Walker will be making the appropriate arrangements for another Club show next year.
-Members asked if other clubs could be invited, of which the committee agreed to discuss and look into. Committee to action

John Wilkinson has kindly donated a trophy to the club, of which could be awarded on a yearly basis for either the best bike, most supportive/helpful member, or something along those lines

Brian has kindly offered club members an evening at his workshop to show and discuss MOT procedures, date to be confirmed.
Brian also advised that Ron Parkinson Motorcycles are holding a classic bike show at Cowdry Ave, of which the club may well be invited to Brian will confirm the date.
Gavin and Keith agreed to try and arrange for a club calendar to be produced as we could use existing photos and sell to raise club funds further Gavin and Keith to Action
Little Havens Hospice (Bromley) intend to run a show and shall visit the club on a club night to meet members and discuss a date. Committee to Action
Keith and his neighbor are in the process of sorting out the website and will discuss with Ron to get the web site up dated and useable.
Peter has been contacted by a Powder Coating Specialist of who is happy for members to visit his workshop for a show and tell. Date to be confirmed, but Peter will require some idea of numbers in the New Year Committee to action
The show entry forms have already started to come in for shows next year, Peter agreed to produce a list of up and coming shows and distribute at meetings Committee to Action
IX. Any Other Business
Gavin (Regalia Officer) mentioned that the club may need a new gazebo for next year, as the existing one is looking a bit tatty- Committee to action (obtain best price etc)
Keith Bell suggested that we should try and make a club stands a little more interesting rather than just lining our bikes up; we should try and have some sort of theme to decorate the stand with. Obviously it would have to be something light and portable as it would have to be carried on a bike.

A new member suggested a back drop of which he may be able to organize and will get back to the committee with price Need to decide what club requires on the back drop Committee to Action
Members also suggested to committee that all bikes show had a uniformed sign giving the make/model/owner etc Peter agreed to undertake signs Secretary to action to put a form together for Peter.
Secretary confirmed that the club Xmas lunch will be on 24th January, of which need names at meeting on 11/1/09. The club will subsidize cost of meals. Secretary to arrange a list of attendees
MAG Christmas Run this Saturday 12.00 at Bungalow cafι.
X. Close of Meeting
Next Club night will be 11th January 2009.
Committee wished all members a Happy Christmas and New Year.
